Be the change by BEING instead of DOING……..

I had a friend recently ask me via text – how I was doing and my reply was, “not doing just being.” This stirred some thought in him and he asked me to write a blog – so here it goes and you know who you are…..
So many of us feel as if we have to “do” in order to earn our keep, feel worthy and accomplished. It’s our society’s way and system – listen to the words around you. What do people ask – “what are you doing?” It’s the “go, go, go” attitude. Now don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with feeling accomplished and earn a clean living but when did we become human “doings” instead of human “beings then we may have to look at some things.”
Some of us really have a hard time to just “BE.” We can’t sit down and be still. We move from one thing to the other. Our brains constantly chatting and our bodies feeling the abuse of it all, we get tired and rightfully so.
So how do we go from “doing” to “being” and not feel guilty for just “being?”
I feel the best way to do this is by being “present” in the moment – this is where you will find the “BE” in Be-ing…….this allows total fulfillment in the here and now!

The breathe helps too – when we are feeling overwhelmed with things to do and having not enough time – STOP – HALT – and breath…..you will enjoy the moment that you reconnect with the breath of life and the breath resets our rhythm. Just breath and live in gratitude and joy in your state of being.

Be the change by changing our human “doing” into human “being”…….. for being is enough
